The Rainbow Warriors Embodying Their Call to Action
The lunar eclipse occurs March 3, 2026 at 3:37:36 am PST at 12 degrees 53 minutes in the Pacific Northwest. It is the last of the eclipses for this time of the year of 2026. The eclipse Sabian symbol is “A strong hand supplanting political hysteria”. The strong hand symbol is for the strong hand of the inner world. Though many may find it rather ironic the recent events on the world stage. Focus your attention and consciousness inward in exploring this LUNAR eclipse. Where does INNER reflection guide you about your own governance? How are you organized? How do you make decisions? Here is another opportunity for your meditative practice and contemplation. Observations in the path of love of wisdom through exploring one’s behaviors, experiences, with a lens on the self. Self governance. Where we have humble governance from within is a deeper truth.
As souls observe the world, the state of things in chaos, this eclipse suggests a reflective mirror, the place of inner observation and one’s own countenance. Life’s chaos can be held when one’s inner world is held with a strong hand of the Self. It is possible we may see this emerge politically. Someone in the political body appears more calm in its light of leadership towards making decisions and embodying behaviors with a visible high mind. It can be either a woman or a man, it would be the embodied calm in the chaos. It may even appear as a collective group that embodies the same principle in this moment. The eclipse energy is important to consider from what might appear and be released during the eclipse energies. It is ultimately transformation (dynamic) that is occurring in the human psyche within the third dimension and embodied by people. Everyone has their individual nativity connected to the eclipse, the question is then how and what will be highlighted in our individual life?
We can look at the Sabian symbol for meaning and how we may interpret the eclipse energy this full moon eclipse brings. We can also look at the Saros series of the eclipse too. This one is Saros series 133. With the moon in Virgo on the south node, we are in a phase of endings. The south node planetary ruler is Mercury (Hermes as Psychopomp) currently retrograde in Pisces with the north node. Cosmically, souls are with HERMES in the stillness, in the dark. Hades is the hidden realm. The dark. However it is the deepest place of transformation that is required before rebirth may occur. There is a process, a soul alchemy at hand. Observe where life takes you into that hidden realm. Are you observing? What releases is potentially veils of ignorance about something in life, in one’s reality, because there is an invitation to go through a process of soul alchemy. It starts with the nigredo phase, one of the three primary phases of the Magnum Opus or the Great Work.
We are nearing the moment of Jupiter (Zeus) stations direct at 15 degrees Cancer during this lunar cycle that started on February 17th at the solar eclipse, which is soon March 10th. I appreciate the blurred lines of Mercury’s descent in Pisces of WHAT IS ENDING and WHAT IS BEGINNING. Thank you Mar Alejandra for a great writing on this Mercury in Pisces. Remember the buzz on 3i ATLAS? It will come in again as timely again as it passes Jupiter in its trajectory out of our system. It is then that we collectively feel (Cancer) and experience something of a bolt of inner lightning in the 3rd dimension (Jupiter is retrograde leading up to March 10th) what this unique interstellar object brings us and is then granted by Zeus. Our Zeus from within. This lunar eclipse is releasing something at the SOUL level in the psyche and it is in transformation NOW. The symbolism is all over this inner process, the soul alchemy in the works. It may seem like the chaos dominates from what you see “out there” if you watch the news and the “reactive” energy. But the calm, the creative reorganization IS underway, IN THE DARK. This lunar eclipse alludes to that symbolically on the inner plane.
We are separating the wheat from the chaff within us individually and collectively.
The purge is real from the inside out.
Mars in Pisces is separating from being in Aquarius which was the powerful movement in conflict that burst forth in our reality as conflict engagement on the earthly plane of our existence. A reminder what task lies before us on the inner plane of transformation as a collective humanity. Mars’ recent exact (Aquarius) square Uranus in Taurus is the emerging energy that must now flow within the realm of Poseidon (Pisces). Mars (Ares) stimulates us for growth and evolution through conflict. How do we manage our evolutionary intentional growth here? Athena holds the key.
Pallas Athena is “in the chariot” with the Sun in Pisces. Through strategy, reason, and love. She is born after all from Zeus’ head fully armored. Rightly she is the protector of “the city”. (human psyche). We must listen to our Athena, like the guide she was for Odysseus. His hero’s journey gives us clues. She is the patron god of heroes such as Perseus, Hercules, Bellerophon, and Jason.
This is the last total lunar eclipse until the end of 2028, so this makes what is released during this eclipse of greater significance in the macro picture of our connection to something larger unfolding. We might not fully understand it all (the macro picture) until 2028-2029, because most phases of soul alchemy take time to be integrated in the human psyche.
Mercury continues its retrograde in Pisces until March 20th (10:46 am EDT / 7:46 am PDT). The spring equinox will come in with a lot of FIRE energy and pioneering beginnings. Mercury at the Vernal Equinox is standing STILL at the deepest level of its role as psychopomp. Hermes is a LIMINAL god, the ability to move between the realms. He is the guide of souls between realms. Not just between life and death, but from the perspective of guide of souls in the confusion that may exist in the realm of Hades in the process of soul alchemy. Hermes guides, with his helmet of invisibility, his winged helmet, winged sandals, and his caduceus. Derived from the Latin cādūceus, which is a modification of the Greek kērykeion (“herald’s wand”), linked to kēryx (“herald”). Observe the messages and images especially during Mercury’s ascent out of the underworld during this next lunar month. It will carry deep revelations. Mercury is a guide. Mercury heralds messages coming swiftly in the next lunar cycle. What has been suppressed emerges more fully into the light and will have new beginnings with Mercury ascending through Pisces and its ingress into Aries on April 9th. Once Mercury transits Saturn and Neptune in April there will be emerging new leaders. Mercury will be visible on April 3 before sunrise, so that may be an interesting few days between April 3-9. Note, the moon in Virgo transit will be exactly opposite Mercury at 20 degrees on March 3rd later in the afternoon around 4:37 pm PDT. The light that is on the moon translating the messages Mercury offers from the depths and stillness of Hades.
The Sabian symbol for 20-21 degrees Virgo (specifically 21° Virgo) is “A girls’ basketball team”. This symbol highlights themes of team spirit, cooperation, healthy competition, and the organized pursuit of a common goal. It emphasizes the need for collective action and discipline in a social or group context. The answers are right there for us to pick up, we only need the eyes and heart to see it.
Venus in Pisces at 26 degrees 18 is exalted, offering us new eyes. The Sabian Symbol for Venus degree in this lunar eclipse is “A prism”. This symbol indicates a phase of looking at life through the lens of divine perspective, representing the splitting of white light into a rainbow, symbolizing the transformation of spiritual unity into diverse, multi-faceted expressions, or seeing God in everything. Makes you think about the generation of Rainbow Warriors, doesn’t it? There is order in the chaos, one must look with their inner eye. The New Moon in Pisces coming on March 18th highlights the degree of 28-29 Pisces with the exact lunation at 28 degrees 27 minutes! The tapestry is so illuminated at the new moon later in March, but the seed with roots in the stillness, in the dark now grows. Our unity in action will prevail, Hermes symbolizes this cosmologically, goddess Athene is with us, and that is beauty and love in action, our divinity in this dimension emerging more embodied in our collective harmony.

Saturn and Neptune in Aries is the fire element reshaping our reality, but it is forged in the process of our soul alchemy.
