Early Tuesday morning around 5:25 am PDT, the new moon in Libra at 28 degrees 21’ starts our next lunar month. The Sabian symbol for this new moon is “A man in the midst of brightening influences.” This lunar month has the new moon lunation in a separating square aspect to Jupiter and an opposition with Chiron in Cancer. Venus in Libra in her domain shows us there are some pleasing aspects to this lunar month. It gets me curious about what may happen in our judicial branch. Just a few hours later on Tuesday (8:42 am) the moon enters the sign of Scorpio and will be at an inconjunct (150 degrees aspect) with Neptune in Aries. The inconjunct is a planetary aspect of distortion, a disconnecting vibration, or not seeing something clearly as it is beyond our immediate vision, an actual blind spot. Something is off and you might not be able to figure it out for a while, until the moon reaches Sagittarius, perhaps by Thursday something will become more visible. A Libra moon operates with intention to harmonize a situation, like the ambassador at the table as an intermediary. This energy can bring a solution towards harmony, however it requires an intense negotiation with a searingly brazen warrior archetype.
However this Libra new moon quickly moves into Scorpio where the need to investigate and research something becomes the route. The demands become more emotionally intense for justice. To build harmony from the noise of our current collective energy takes a new level of courage and doing homework, digging into the research, probing for the truth through deep inquiry. Researching and investigating to clearly state something in discussions of great importance are happening this month. Consciously probing questions to illuminate a dark subject matter for the purpose of social justice is one prominent theme in this lunar month. Those that wish to remain hidden and continue playing out their shadow may think there isn’t a consequence for their action will inevitably find they are in the swirl of a vortex that is hard to truly escape. Mars in Scorpio 20 degrees 3’ and Mercury in Scorpio 20 degrees 46’ are thick as thieves in the efforts to bury the evidence. Unfortunately, those efforts are trine with Saturn in Pisces at 26 degrees 20’ and will not understand the vulnerability of the ‘container’ chosen to bury it.
Once Neptune in Aries (retrograde) enters Pisces on Wednesday morning (about 5:47 am EDT), those working will have picked up the clues that guide their hunches into the pursuit of justice. Remember, this period of time is an ending cycle for Saturn and Neptune as these two planetary transits end the synodic cycle before February 20, 2026, new synodic cycle begins. Try to release old patterns before the new chapter. This story hopefully illustrates that most people not understanding the planetary larger cycles of the moment will get lost in the details of the new beginnings just a couple of months from now.
Jupiter in Cancer (exalted Traditional astrology) is quite powerful (especially from the West Coast of the US) for this lunar month, as it is located in the 10th house and highly visible. This shows a win for those seeking security or an assurance for fairness related to something that has been challenging in recent weeks. Jupiter is still opposite Pluto (out of sign) but the tension is there. The full blown challenge for Jupiter with Pluto happens next year (2026) when Jupiter is in Leo. That’s when the so-called “king” will face off with technology and the numerous individuals expressing an outpouring of energy in resistance and are transformed within the resistance. It is similar to the idea of the ‘ego’ is required to go through its transformation. In a face-off of opposition, PLUTO is always the ace for transformation, in Aquarius it is made through rebellion for and in favor of true space for individuation. One only has to look at the cosmos to see the players on the stage and gather insights for the play that is playing and will play. Just so I’m clear, we all have an inner king. However, around the world we can identify those who are playing the archetype of a king (Leo) and what that symbolizes for an egoic transformation (Pluto) on the horizon. Pluto in Aquarius is where a greater collective body of people act and speak their truth, where individuation is imperative for growth and evolution (into the next chapter). We can look back in history and see this same combination when the 13 colonies and the leaders stood up to declare their independence from tyranny. Themes repeat in history, it is how we evolve and we readily can explore this knowing our history and understanding that it will be similar but have different jump forward points in growth, because the free will that people use and express can make the difference in how that leap plants the new seed of growth.
The final sweep of Uranus in Taurus (Uranus enters Taurus while retrograde November 7th) there is an additional final chapter of chaos that lands in themes of money, currencies, distribution channels, food, farms, issues with food contaminants (Taurus is opposite Scorpio), land and property issues (buying and selling), and the overall stability of markets. All these themes are in play while Uranus is in Taurus November 7, 2025 through April 25, 2026.
February 3rd, 2026, Uranus stations direct from this current retrograde cycle. When Uranus stations direct at 27 degrees of Taurus it is conjunct Algol, an intensely difficult fixed star. See some notes on symbolism of Algol (here (symbolism like the myth of Medusa losing her head to Perseus as he used a shield as a mirror to deflect the glare of her glance that turned men to stone).
The acceleration of changes will be more visible as Uranus enters Gemini again April 25, 2026. At this new moon in Libra Uranus is retrograde in the early degrees of Gemini, where information to transform is happening at lightning speed and exponentially changing our understanding how fast things are changing (Pluto) relative to how we work with and use technology, how we must transform ourselves and requires us to quickly assimilate the new information and in turn align with the waves of change. It is part survival, but perhaps more important is knowing that this new chapter requires being true to ourselves, our values, and working collaboratively to create a reality that works for an environment where individuation (self actualization) exists with ease. A prayer or thought to contemplate deeply is how to flow in the present moment and maintain an autonomy of self. This is a HUGE leap (next year and into 2032 are years of great beginnings). Many of us are ill prepared for this leap and how to stabilize our living within the frame of what it means. The archetypes offered to us through the planetary transits give us the landscape of how the energy is manifesting in our lives, individually and collectively.
Are you ready for an expanded expression of who you really are? How much time have you sat in meditation, in stillness? It is from the place of stillness we align with ease our creative capacity to bring to life a new vision. The north node in Pisces is in a trine aspect with Jupiter in Cancer as well as Mercury and Mars in Scorpio. It suggests in the symbolism that we will find the courage to go within, understand something more deeply about our emotional nature, what we need for living a life where self actualization is our truth, and as we integrate this truth we realize something greater about our humanity. May this lunar cycle inspire you to dig into your psyche and understand your needs and how your self actualization is a courage act of love. Be willing to give your visions light and energy so they will grow. Namaste. Bless this moment.
