Full Moon in Gemini – Ending Chapters The Threshold of an Era of Hidden Symbols

The full moon in Gemini at 13 degrees 03 minutes is realized at 3:15 pm PST, Thursday December 4, 2025. This full moon activates the lunar nodes like shifting sands, and an exact square with the lunar nodes at 13 degrees Pisces-Virgo. What directions we take for our future adventures is defined by conversations or ideas we may have today.  The north node in Pisces with both Saturn-Neptune in Pisces at 25 and 29 degrees are fluid in what is envisioned. Everything is quite malleable right now. These two planets are dissolving the boundaries of things, even our connections with others. How does the present moment feel?  What comes through the noise and movement of the present moment? It might surprise you what you connect with in that thin veil. How close the ancestors are at this moment. What would you ask them?

Thoughts and ideas provide some clues on whatever might be taking shape with Saturn, Neptune, Moon, Sun, Mars, Venus in mutable signs. But it might be easier to blow away the old sands now as this year ends. I look at this moon like snowfall. It might have a lot of chatter but then it fades as the snowfall blankets the sounds. It reminds us of the season of time that it is. The days of the deepest fall and approaching winter solstice. The landscape absorbing all the fallen leaves, the bits of debris from last year’s garden, the lushness of life break down in the soil for all the earthly insects and worms that flourish with that abundance of organic matter, all in order in the natural cycle of seasons. While we hustle about in the days before the solstice, to share life huddle with warm steaming cups, visiting while streets glitter with tiny lights holding off the winter for just a while longer. This full moon while busy with mutable energy has a deep pool of emotional indwelling too. Mercury in Scorpio at 22 degrees 51 is the backdrop for this full moon. It has a sobering effect. Reading and writing are the keys at this moment that take you on the grandest adventure you might desire. Pluto in Aquarius continues slowly forward in Aquarius the transformation within the words we share, the systems in their complexity and outdated frames showing their need for updated architectures. This full moon may illuminate the ideas for where the architecture may reorganize. 

Jupiter in Cancer while retrograde pulls us inward. Home, security and how we define it for ourselves is added to our list of reflections that happen in the holi-dazed moments. Our eyes unfocused not really looking at anything, but only the soft muted shapes of the background around us. Our minds are inward with the pool of deep thoughts about our lives while the chatter goes on about us. We smile occasionally, knowing it is a gesture of warmth, but our truth knows we cannot hold it for long. The heart within knows this is an ending like a book we have had a hard time putting down. We became comfortable with the characters, the scenes and the world it created for us, it felt safe, but the day was always there that we would finish the last pages and it would be returned to the bookshelf of our lived experiences. 

Mars in Sagittarius may call many to do the long run, burning off the parts of life that have been rather sticky in our psyches. Sweat pouring from a long endurance run can detoxify our blood. Overheating on purpose to release might be a blessing for the soul during this introverted time. If running is not the channel, it can just as easily be hot yoga or dancing to release energy while at the same time it is an act of conscious release. Instinctual movements are healing and this is a beautiful full moon to flow with it.

Venus in Sagittarius loves adventure as long as it is close to home or with people from home, because the heart now is focused on home and those who create the container of home within their bonds. Some might feel a little scattered in the times with friends, there are many overlapping desires. Choosing might feel impossible and so trying to do more might seem a reasonable choice. The feminine within will realize this soon enough and move to a more conserved approach to what one magnetized to itself, thus the importance of Venus in Capricorn comes the morning of December 24th. Our desires can overextend us for the next two weeks.

Uranus in Taurus retrograde at 28 degrees 52 minutes recently gave a few shocks to Venus about four or five days ago. Though that was the big first shocks, we have aftershocks coming via Mercury in Scorpio as it applies to the opposition with Taurus. Our relationships and bonds move through adjustments like Gaea’s tectonic plates shifting. A new settlement is being grounded. December 9-10 Mercury is exactly opposite Uranus. Mercury will take it further, where shadow is breaking open something only now ready to be faced. Chaos is the only way you could ever see this shadow. It only comes when you are within your most vulnerable. It comes for being witnessed, simply for healing in your state of awareness that this energy permits with the thinnest of veils. Mercury is still the Psychopomp bringing the message out of Hades. In stillness you may grasp the whisper that it is. The symbols of our unique path are all around us. The Age of Pisces carries within it the wholeness of the zodiacal wheel. Within it time is the illusion. No past or future are truth, only now. We notice them as our resonance becomes coherent with it all. May this full moon illuminate the threshold of the divine twin, the archetypal energies forming the structure within our minds, the infinite threshold all in the now. Always existing without beginning or end. The illusion a tool, one shaped by and for the martyr (μάρτυς) to venerate (προσκῠνέω.)
