Pisces New Moon – February 27, 2025: There’s No Place Like Home, There’s No Place Like Home

Today February 27, 2025, at 4:45 pm PST a new moon in Pisces starts a new cycle and begins our first round of eclipses at the coming full moon on March 14th. If you live east of the Pacific Northwest the lunar eclipse will be on March 13th. The coming lunar eclipse magnifies the Virgo-Pisces polarity and the solar eclipse highlights Aries-Libra. The next new moon will be a solar eclipse in Aries.  We enter a period of time where change will increase the tensions and frustrations and the endings and new beginnings. 

This Pisces new moon heightens our feelings and brings other themes of our lives forward for what is in focus for us all now. With Virgo rising as the chart of the new moon for the Pacific Northwest and west coast of the United States, and Mercury in Pisces on the opposite side of the chart and the coming Mercury retrograde on March 14th (at the lunar eclipse) in Aries at 9 degrees 35 minutes and then the added intensity of the solar eclipse at 9 degrees Aries we have a dramatic March line up. Everything will be touched by changes and new beginnings.  It will likely be confusing and will have dramatic immediate shifts as Aries is a cardinal fire sign and events that are activated by Mercury stationing and the eclipse happening within the same degree will be like multiple layers of a ripple effect of events. If you have planets or angles within 3 degrees of 9 degrees Aries I highly recommend taking time to look deeply into your personal transits and understanding in what area of life you may experience these shifts of energy. It can appear as a pioneering idea emerging as well, but it may take until after the eclipses to see what emerges. 

Mercury in Pisces at this new moon enters the sign of Aries on March 3rd. This month Mercury retrograde begins on March 14th at the station at 9 degrees 35 minutes Aries and Mercury returns to Pisces on March 30th. Stationing direct on April 7th in Pisces at 26 degrees 50’.  Mercury returning to Aries on April 16th will be important to note for days of bold actions, breakthroughs, and communications that spark potential reviews or decisions. Things will be made more clear and with a focused need to be first direction as Mercury returns to Aries. Hidden information can be revealed. What was eroded will be more visible. This retrograde cycle while Mercury is transiting Pisces will be purposeful smoke and mirrors on information, an active veiling of something important that will ultimately not stay, The fog bank will not last long, the cutting drive of communications will sharpen as Mercury emerges and continues its transit in Aries. Keep reminding yourself and saying out loud that the truth of the matter will reveal itself swiftly and within a couple weeks we will see it.

Venus is slowing down in Aries to station retrograde on March 1st at 10 degrees. Venus cycle from the conjunction with the sun to next is about 22 months. The last Venus-Sun conjunction (superior conjunction) was June 3, 2024.  The next Venus-Sun conjunction by retrograde (inferior conjunction) is March 22, 2025. Venus retrograde brings us insights into our desires and releasing something that has matured, a lesson about our values or our self worth has come full circle. Venus while in Aries takes action, getting what she desires through action, more Mars-like in its nature. Venus in Pisces in this retrograde has a lot more love we may accept and have a deep knowing about love that is everywhere.  

We may experience something that is a reminder of the universal deep love and our support that may overwhelmingly give us a boost. Keep in mind that during Venus retrograde there are phases we experience. One includes the invitation to go into the underworld and release something, what is the lesson learned in the whole cycle and then how we are getting ready to open up to move into another phase, a new cycle. As Venus conjoins with the sun again) and we have a matured, queen-like quality emerging from the sun-Venus superior conjunction. Each planetary cycle gives us a pearl of wisdom to gather in our journey. The cycle of Venus and the retrograde give us insights on themes that include what karmic patterns we may be completing, to what is lining up for us to receive in benefit. Like the rhythm of nature, we have periods of abundance and growth and other periods of contraction. 

Mars just recently stationed direct in Cancer (Feb 24) after its lengthy retrograde is moving forward in Cancer at 17 degrees 06. Mars direct and in Cancer will now see many in protective stance, willing to fight if threatened or provoked. Until Mars reaches Leo hold the energy like a lioness who is ready to pounce. The time to pounce will be more effective with Mars in Leo facing off with Pluto in Aquarius.  Consider how, with whom, and what you need to be effective towards the intention of action. What outcomes do you want?  That is important more than ever to hold the intention when taking action, because some actions and use of free will at this moment will need the steely determination to drive it through to the end zone. This is a powerful time, more effective if one knows how to align with the stars. Mars has more power in Leo to get and manifest the intention. Mars returns to Leo on April 18th and it will have a tight opposition to Pluto in Aquarius for a few weeks. 

Jupiter in Gemini at 12 degrees 11’ touches this new moon in Pisces with the tension of a square. Laws are in the cross-hairs as certain actions are taken. We will see volumes of spooled-up action from our lawmakers and our Congress this month defending rights and our US Constitution. Jupiter is a key planet for laws and law making. In Gemini, Jupiter has growth in duality. However, in a few months, by June 9th as Jupiter enters Cancer there will be an expansive collective protective shield that comes in for growth and how it will show its superior strength to the world. Jupiter in Cancer is exalted and will have superior power, and Jupiter will need it as it faces a tidal wave of conflict from Saturn conjoined with Neptune as both planets enter Aries March 30th and May 24th.  This square symbolizes the metaphorical combat zone Jupiter takes on as protector in the sign of Cancer. Neptune in Aries adds energy that has no concept of boundaries, it is a planet of chaos, archetypal energy of surrender, and ultimately it is energy of opportunity.  Neptune energy reminds us “there is no spoon” (the Matrix), what must be created is now forming something new through action (Aries). This is ACE of WANDS energy. Raw energy forming what will be. It is a pioneering energy pulse. We enact what it will be collectively, with courage (Mars) and together protecting. This is a key year, with other planets giving shape to our reality, from our intentions, our desires, within us to create something new.

 

Saturn in Pisces at 20 degrees 34’ trine Mars in Cancer is challenging because the access of authority does not have the best gates to hinder the destruction. Keep in mind Pluto in Aquarius is also the forever change agent that will completely change what was, we are in a new paradigm of how our lives are enhanced or challenged by how we use technology, as I’ve mentioned often in many Pluto in Aquarius writings in the past few years. Unfortunately, I do not think we considered the weight of that statement and what that meant for our government and how it operates with technology. Transformation is the archetypal energy of this moment. The United States has the added themes of the past that will be brought forward. This includes the years around the birth of our nation through a few decades when the United States Constitution was created. Saturn is our responsibility, our duty, and our authority, how we also work with perceived and actual authority. Remember many broke the law on January 6, 2021, because of how they perceived something. While that came around again in recent news there is a collective power that emerges in certain moments when rebellion is in the tapestry of the planetary transits.  

Saturn is both our own authority (how Saturn in transit activates you in response to your own authority or another’s authority), but also something we experience together as a perceived authority, but when that authority takes action against the majority that gives it power then we will see rebellion. The question is what creates the tension that actually lights the match to mobilize that rebellion and what oxygen feeds the fire for change? Saturn and Neptune in Pisces are visible in authority figures managing their actions without boundaries, no gates and they have the perception of no resistance. 

Things in our reality are positioned to change dramatically in the next three months (in the world, and yet the United States is in the spotlight), with the pressure cooker of resistance that is building strength. Neptune enters Aries on March 30th, this will be a huge change in energy. Watch not just the United States, but the world and the authorities around the world.  When Saturn and Neptune enter Aries (note there will be a 1-2-3 into Aries for both Saturn and Neptune as their retrograde cycles in 2025 and early 2026 will have them exit Aries, enter Pisces, then return to Aries in early 2026). Our most volatile period of time will be while Saturn is in Aries through 2028. The new cycle includes finishing activities and veils dropping dramatically over these months from end of March 2025 through end of February 2026. All that happens in our government these months will define expanded rebellions in 2026 towards protecting the intentions of the ideas of the United States Constitution, while simultaneously revealing the wounds of our nation. Emotions will continue to be high, our response matters for what we want to see in our collective future. 

The coming eclipses in Virgo (lunar south node = loss) and Aries (solar eclipse) will add to the dramatic changing tides of energy of what gets eroded (mutable energies for wiping out things in some way and the sharp endings and new beginnings with solar eclipse in Aries, this year and next. While Saturn is in Aries there will be high litigious activities and actions that can erupt in violence. We will see both members of US congress stand boldly to represent the people, numerous lawsuits, and the people’s anger growing and perhaps flowing in rhythm with these planets transiting in and out of Aries-Pisces. People in sheer frustration will take action, but there will be variables on how that will appear depending on their mode of resistance, collective groups are more powerful, operating as a lone wolf will increase one’s vulnerability. This is not a David versus Goliath story. This is the People versus tyranny and corruption. The solar eclipse on March 29th is the day before Neptune enters Pisces. This is when the match that comes from something the knowledge and the response to what has been under attack and eroded. Neptune entering Aries is the switch from our collective last nerve being stomped on and the collective is ignited in our consciousness deeply and raw energy is flooding our consciousness and our subconscious is in response, some of course will be activated trauma response. Love as the answer will be truly interesting to witness in action. Millions and millions of love-in-action life stories will be playing out. Are you operating with love-in-action now? If yes, even if that is simply helping others through loss of employment, or immobility, or need for community, or growing extra food in your garden, you will be an observable rebel-with-a-cause to what is being asked of us. How will it shape us? How will we follow our hearts in this moment? We live in an incredibly powerful historical moment, our individual and collective actions matter for generations beyond those living today, possibly for what will be for another 240 or so years.

Uranus in Taurus at 23 degrees 36’ is nearing its ingress to Gemini, July 7, 2025. Uranus is still actively disrupting our distribution channels, food distribution, land and property ownership, and perhaps most important the currencies around the world. Even after Uranus enters Gemini and begins new shock waves in education, libraries, transportation (both domestic and international), commerce, and communications including the media we will see the first mentioned themes within Taurus energy re-activated as Uranus in its retrograde cycle in 2025-2026 has finishing transits in Taurus. When Uranus enters Gemini there is a quickening of transformation power of Pluto as the air element is exaggerated and in a trine aspect which brings changes even with greater speed and I would say brought swiftly forward with a detached cool manner. The air element in outer planets (Pluto and Uranus) will appear cool, less emotional, and Neptune in Aries will be raw new expressions of energy and an increase in science and technology innovations will be visible and emerging. Solutions emerging for our evolving world. Transparency while Uranus is in Gemini will be a focus in communication, technology and information as this period takes shape. 

Neptune is like the infinite of our subconscious, it is the depths and breadths of imagination or our living experience, something tapped into all the is in potentiality. Neptune may appear in our lives as a metaphorical or actual wipe out, but just the same it is in the infinite zone with the composer creating the masterpiece as if it was written by the pens of angels. Neptune seems like a way to view life at the quantum level where what is ready to emerge with evolutionary pulses is generated and the duality takes shape as well because it is foundational for this 3D dimension, even if we as we learn about 4th, 5th and beyond. Consider how dreams have helped you experience something outside of time, or have you perplexed how it shaped your understanding of something complex and multi-faceted in your experience. We are powerful collectively, and this moment, this time, we may realize our power now more than any other time in our known recorded history, with greater numbers who are spiritually centered, and many leaving some long held religiously centered beliefs. Evolution is knocking on our inner doors and we are about to collectively open the doors.  It will have a powerful ripple effect as more and more souls awaken to this collective power. It is so profoundly powerful it will accelerate our evolution, and yet it will feel like we are de-evolving first, but that is the usual pattern of the building of energy before the tidal wave of the new.  It is just like nature, but from within us and experienced together, transpersonal. 

This lunar month brings a multitude of changes and illuminations through the retrogrades of Venus and Mercury while Neptune inches toward the Aries ingress coupled with a lunar and solar eclipse in March. Know that we are on the Yellow Brick Road, take time to know who are the friends of your close circle, and know that you always have the red ruby shoes. They were always there for you.
